The Confession

Confession is not only good for the soul but is also a good read.

Holt Douglas is a good man with a very secret sin.  As the assistant district attorney, he argues before a judge to fight for truth.  Trish Carmichael is a deputy sheriff who makes sure the bad guys are caught so they can face the judge.  Both want the truth, and eventually have to face the truth in their lives.

This book was enjoyable to read and interesting enough to keep my attention throughout.  I thought I had the story line figured out, but I was wrong.  I was satisfied with how the story ended because it was better than I expected.

Thomas Nelson provided me with a free copy of this book in exchange for my review which I freely give.
