Echoes of an Angel

Ben Underwood may have lost his eyes, but he never lost his sight.  Using echolocation, he was able to walk to school on his own, ride a bike, and even drive a car around a parking lot.  Thankfully, his mother did not find out until after he did it!

As I read this story, I was certainly amazed at the abilities of this young man.  He used the gifts God gave him to bring love and hope to others.  Yet, as a mother, I was touched by the love of his mother, Aquanetta Gordon.  She is the true hero of this story.  I do not know how she can continues to find hope after all she has endured.  She is truly amazing.

Tyndale House provided me a free copy of this book in exchange for this review which I freely give.
