They are hilarious. They are entertaining. They are crazy. But they are real. That is the truth. They are who they are, and there is no hiding from it not even on the radio.
In all their realness, I did not know their backstory. It was amazing to read how they got to where they are now. They did not prepare to be "Rick and Bubba", but somehow their paths crossed and the stars were aligned. And they will be the first to admit that it was not luck or happenstance but the hand of God.
Their whole routine is being real, and they are not ashamed to be honest about who they are. It was refreshing to read a book that tells it like it is which includes the good and the bad. Yet, they serve a God who can bring hope and redemption in both the good and the bad.
Thanks for sharing your lives with us, Rick and Bubba!
To comply with new regulations introduced by the Federal Trade Commission, I must post that Thomas Nelson has provided me with a complimentary copy of this book to review. I also must say that the opinions are all mine.
